You decide to head North in order to get some supplies, possibly for fishing in the 'hot spot' to the South.

Now with a destination set, you rev up the Pontoon for a long day's travel ahead, dutifully dragging along the cumbersome speedboat behind it.

While the Pontoon boat is on it's way to the outpost, Lavis searches the boat for more hidden trinkets. Her search comes up fruitless, as the only thing she finds includes a few dead cockroaches. Eugh.

You contemplate trading the pontoon and a fishing pole for some supplies. It would probably work if you loaded everything onto the speedboat, but there would be close to no room to move around, and a speedboat is not a steady platform to store things on unless you have a trusty way to secure it at high speeds. Bad news if you need to get to something quickly, or at all.



After about half a day of travel, you see a vague shape upon the horizon. It's not the outpost, as it would be much larger. Maybe it's a boat, although it doesn't seem to be moving. It might be worth a small detour to check it out, but it could be risky.

Put the supplies in the speed boat back into the pontoon boat, grab the rifle and ammo and one of the men and take the speed boat to go investigate, leaving one of the other men behind to watch the pontoon boat. Approach the shape with extreme caution and try to make it out from as far away as possible.

^^^ How's this sound guys? Even if the two who go investigate get killed or shipwrecked the other still has all the supplies.

Engineers are always better! Like Isaac Clarke, (Tf2) Engineer, and even Gordan Freeman!
All super awesome engineers; who are better than your average scientist!

He had a PhDin theoretical Physics

Which happens to also deal with physics, a main portion of an engineer's curriculum.
(Not to mention his job was quite literally push a box)

Physics may be something an engineer studies, if that is the type of engineer you're talking about, but Theoretical Physicist is a specific scientist career.
