Is it possible to interrupt a feeding in progress?

Vampire is in the dormitory feeding on one of my bone carvers.  My military dwarves are standing in the same dormitory watching him do it.

Any way to interrupt this feeding, or will I simply have to sacrifice my poor bone carver?

Unbuilding the bed out from under the sleeping dwarf will interrupt the feeding, IF you can get it done in time.

E: Or deconstructing them, if you prefer. Unbuilding is a perfectly cromulent word!

it used to be that a station command (if the vampire was in military) would interrupt a feeding too
