Yeah I'm bandwagoning, but this looked fun and I did do *some* things in post to make it even creepier (I hope, not sure if that's even possible with this game). So you know, there's something almost unique about it...No fear cam I'm sorry.

Pretty much. All aboard the band wagon Also it was a good test for my new recording set-up although I'm still not completely happy with the quality of the audio...gonna go for a real LP another time. Maybe one more Horror LP since I've downloaded A Mother's Inferno and that looks batshit craaazy xD

You don't get the same ending. Slendy kills you if you touch him, getting all the pages makes him vanish and it becomes day. Plus, conquering fear and being utterly suicidal are not the same thing. Physical contact with Slendy never ends well.

Besides, the developer said that Slender's current state is more or less an Alpha, and that (and I quote) "the good stuff" isn't even in yet. I can only nightmare what he means by that.

I'm not sure what In The Mouth Of Madness you read, but in mine the only global apocalypse occurred countless eons ago when the Shaggoth rose up against the Elder Things and ate them.

Regardless, I'm not sure Slenderman is cut out for apocalypse-scenarios. His influence is generally depicted as more of the "Timelessly Ancient Thing From Beyond The Veil Of Human Consciousness That Stalks And Does Something To People For Unknowable Reasons".

Aha, I played it when this was the ending and you got the same animation. It seems it's been updated to turn into daytime afterwards. Which may be even more terrifying. But yeah, with the old ending, you get the same ending as charging him head on.. Here's how I figure it. Just about the most popular 'explanation' for Slenderman is the Tulpa Effect, in which the creature exists because lots of people believe in it. So, by knowing that it has no power, and thus not fearing it, for you it does not exist. You charge right through that fucker, and you win the game.

That's how I see it.

He still gets you if you get all the pages. It's just he doesn't kill you and it becomes day. Which maybe what happens if you don't get all pages. Maybe Slender just wants to play a nice game of Hide and Seek with his new friend...
