I'm still playing 31.25 so this may be an old issue but AWESOME! Now I have two dwarfs dead from thirst and one by demons. YAY! Good thing I cheat like... Hell?

Well, I had the same case. A huntress was thirst but still hunting and killed an elephant. Now, with the new hauling and weight of item and slow down of those that carry those items, she was REALLY slow. It's a very long way through my trap corridor and then it's a bit more down to the kitchen area. She died from thirst as she was almost there.

Shit happens, get used to.
