Analogue: A Hate Story
« on: June 28, 2012, 06:58:43 pm »

I've considered posting about this in the past but given it is on sale from steam today I finally got around to it.

Simply put, this is the best Visual Novel I have played, and I have played a very very large number of them.

The music is astounding, the plot dark and amazing, the characters enjoyable, the puzzle is slightly challenging but not annoying, it has five endings, and the character frame moves bring the characters to life so much that it brings other VNs to shame (excluding Quartett).

It was a good deal at 10$ and it's only 6$ today, go forth and buy it if you even remotely like visual novels.

And now for spoiler discussion in spoiler tags.  I'd ask that everyone who already played it be fairly rigid in using them and that anyone who wants to play it ever doesn't read them because the unveiling of the games secrets is what pulls it all together.

I have every intent on playing this this weekend. I loved Digital: A Love Story, and I'm sure I'm going to love this one as well.

Also, I think it's already been posted about?

I just ran a search, it doesn't have its own thread.  The was a single post about ti in the steam sale thread, but I also want to discuss the game and that is not appropriate for there.
