All it takes is a murderous boyfriend to cyberstalk you.

Bleh, the murderous ex have no need to cyberstalk him, simple stalking will be quite enough.

Provided he stays vague enough (don't start giving names and social security numbers and all that :D) it shouldn't actually cause any problems.

The psycho ex-boyfriend actually lives down the street from me - and if I were any less of a man there would be nothing left of him right now.

Going to prison would probably not be a constructive element for your friend, bucket. If you really want to get a measure of revenge, later on see if he did anything illegal to her that has not passed the statute of limitations, or if there is a civil case to be considered. Psychopaths generally can employ physical violence and social manipulation to a degree that most people could not or would not consider, but they aren't any better at dealing with the law. Unless they are employed as lawyers. That would pose a serious problem.

If he causes any trouble, I'd suggest helping your friend apply for a restraining order against him. You should probably try to get one against him too if it becomes necessary. Do not do this without cause, however.

Illegal? Hell, I could make an anonymous tip about drug activity going on. There's enough shit moving through that house that they could probably put him away for a long time. Honestly, though, I'm sure he'll just disappear on his own once he realizes he doesn't have her to dump on any more.
