I definitely agree about the Gatorade not being too good. Water or fruit juice might be better.

Kind of late to answers this I know, but, my mother always says if you're having trouble with your appetite or keeping things down then it's better to go with what you feel like eating and eat junk food or whatever than it is to force yourself to eat something.

As for what causes it, I'm going to guess it might be tied to the summer heat. But I don't know, it might not even be all that hot where you are, heck it might not even be summer. It could also be caused by something else like a stomach bug, or a medication or a combination of factors.

Most of the time when something like this comes along it'll pass by within a few weeks, if it keeps going and you keep losing weight... Well I'm really not sure... Check into a hospital maybe?

It probably won't help you- but check this!

I looked up a little article about stomach acid, and learned that stomach acid is frequent to break down large chunks of food.

So I started chewing things better...

and my heartburn went away.

It was amazing, and I felt stupid for not following basic mom-instructions.

Aside from that, probiotic yogurts are known for taming somach bacteria outright. Not all the bacteria though- might not touch the bacteria gettin u, which would be bad.

Specific foods make specific stomach bacteria more active.

since I read your post, I've been trying to chew better...

less gut pain for me, yay!

I had kinda stopped chewing well due to dental issues that are now resolved, but habits are hard to break.

Don't tell anyone that you can see their shadows. If they hear you telling anyone, if you let them know that you know of them, they will get you.
