I need to mod dragons to over run the world a few years in to world gen.

im having a horribly hard time at modding dragons to go from the few at the start of world gen toover running the world in just a few short years.

having changed the min/max size of there laying eggs to 100000 to 500000, and there ageing to fully grown to make the lay eggs after 1 year of age.

i still have a world devoid of dragons.

Lower the amount of caves now. So dragons actually meet and make eggs.

Make them bigger and mature faster. One problem with them is that it takes so long for them to get big, they can be very easily owned in world gen by lesser races in the first 300 or so years. You'll find that any dragon that survives those 300 years will probably survive the next 1000 ( at least that's been my consistent experience with the game so far )

And try seeding more dragons at world gen. Having 20 dragons at the start is better than 3. Or can you only do that with civs? Not sure.

If you increase the titan number in advanced worldgen, more megabeasts will be created. It doesn't let you choose what megabeasts, but if you just increase the number by a decent amount, it should work.

Another option would be to make a dragon entity. Then you dont have to worry about other megabrasts taking the dragons place, and you can have dragons socializing more. Also, don't forget egg size determines how long it takes to hatch.
