Killing off a Fortress
« on: June 09, 2012, 11:59:53 pm »

I'm quite new to dwarf fortress, and i have done a lot of things wrong with my second fortress (i created a new world not long after starting my first). I want to know how i can most efficiently kill off my dwarves so I can start anew in this world. The issue is, even with a ghost running around, no water, minima (no?) food, and corpse/refuse piles next to my main meeting place, immigrants are arriving quicker than my dwarves are dying. any tips on how to have some fun here?

When I wanted to kill my fortress, I built a giant sword ontop of the fort and then collapsed it after stationing all the dwarves underneath it

no picks
and what happened to old one's? These you used to dig out actual fortress?

Also, try to do as much science in that fort as you can, try things, before you start another one. You avoid a lot of disappointment.
Good luck next time!

People love Dwarf Fortress besides that where they are from. I'm sorry for any possible typos, but English isn't my native language.

OR

Round up everyone into one small room.

Arm them.

They will converse.

They will befriend each other.

Then, they will fight.
