Necromancer Question
« on: May 30, 2012, 04:16:05 pm »

While playing as a necromancer is it possible to create your own necromancer tower, or perhaps capture your own town/camp?  If it is possible then how?

apart from removing everything in an existing tower and using it as a base(no ingame message or anything just an empty tower, like all those lairs), no that's not possible to my knowledge.

The zombies respawn, so you'll have a base that you have to crawl through because it's packed wall-to-wall with neutral shambling corpses.

Sounds accurate.

Thanks for the help everyone, if I do choose to make a tower my base security will never be an issue.  :)

You can store stuff there, but you can't spend the night there unless you want to pace around the tower all night long.

Diso Faintpuzzles was born in 120.  Although accounts vary it is universally agreed that Diso was chosen by fate as the vanguard of destiny.

In the early spring of 143 Diso began wandering the wilds.

In the early spring of 143 Diso starved to death in the Horn of Striking.

Build a tower in fortress mode, use hack to mark it as lair, hideout complete.

Then he made grudge wit about 20 other dwarfs (still don't know why - perhaps they were stealing his chair).

I believe marking as lair was only necessary when items in the wilderness weren't tracked. They are now- right down to the last cave crocodile leather left shoe.

They still scatter about randomly in fortresses after abandon, though.

Well, we could put two and two together and write a book: "The Shit that Hans and Max Did: You Won't Believe This Shit."
