Regarding Animal pens

I have a <i think> simple question. Can activity zones overlap? Id like to make small 1X3 pens one either side of my entry door for a guard animal, but i would like to also add a larger pen encompassing the entire room for pest control cat pasture. Can i overlap the cat pasture over the guard dog pasture and have them function properly? thanks for your advice/suggestions.

Yes.  And you can access them individually using the "next" function under (i), which it took me some time to notice.
