I don't really remember how far I got or what classes I used to beat the game.

I do know that the spellsword with vampire runes is pretty OP. The spellsword restores mana with melee attacks and can cast a powered-up versions of its spell, which costs double mana but deals double damage. With enough investment, you can sometimes kill enemies with a single spell and get more mana restored (through dark armor/runes) than it cost to cast the spell. And since spells are often far more versatile than melee, you can sometimes kill dangerous things without having to be in danger, and refill you mana later on easier things when it is more convenient.

But that is pretty late game, takes a lot of gold to get there. The... shinobi (? it's a melee class that deals extra melee damage, not assassin or berserker) is also pretty strong but still requires you hit things with melee, which can be dangerous when you're deep in the tower/dungeon.

I really want to play a game where I spec for Dragon from the get-go. They really are my favorite class, especially if you can get an alter to swap out their fireball spell for something else.

Conflux or axe dragon for great fun. :V

Any special tactics for alexander iv? (remix battle)

It's the last remix i need and it just stumps me. best i did so far was maybe 40-45% hp left.

I'm getting the basic concept of jumping into the spikes, but there's so many damn furies floating around in total chaos, jumping into spikes barely helps in clearing out a swarm. They'll never group up for easy slaying, instead projecting a whole wall of bullets that's impossible to dodge with the giant boss floating and firing at the same time.
I can survive for quite some time if i only focus on the minions and evading the boss, but then i don't find any time to hit the boss and he's still spawning more minions 2-3 minutes into the fight so i dont think theres a limit...

Maybe it's just me getting old of course, lol.

I... used the specialest tactic, m'self. "Cheat Like You Want to Win." Pretty easy to find the health address with cheat engine, iirc >_>

... which probably isn't that helpful, ahaha. Pretty sure there isn't a limit, though, no. My best advice (well, beyond memory editing :P) would probably be to check youtube for vids of someone pulling it off, so you can see what works. I don't remember any observations I may have made while flapping around the room functionally invincible.
