Quick question about substituting magma for water
« on: May 22, 2012, 09:32:14 am »

I am enjoying my new map immensely.

Can magma flow through brook tiles?  Can I replace the majority of my river with the bubbly red stuff and let it flow off the end of the map?

Does anyone have advice about how to clear out a large area of magma?

Yes, magma can flow through brook tiles. However, they will appear (from above) to be dry.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.
