I want to try duplicating raws to get strange things to happen

Is there any particular thing you have to do to get them duplicated? do I just copy the file, or do I put the same text in one file twice? this is probably a stupid topic, I just want to make sure I'm doing it correctly. :P

More specifically, same object, E.G an entire creature. For best results, copy the toad creature under creature_amphibian and paste it in the same spot without overwriting the original.

Dwarf Fortress: The only game where having two of the same creature is justification for alligator blacksmiths.
