Can someone help me out here?

a) Why do they not get used for dumping or moving to Depot
b) Is there any way to speed that up (Besides minecarts, and I don't want to dig ramps)
c) What other jobs does it not get used for
d) Why does it seem they only get used for 1 things even though they can carry more e.g. my peasants are hauling wood in from the outside one at a time
e) How soon should I start moving to minecarts
f)  Is there a better way of "dumping" to clear space for stockpiles that does use wheelbarrows?

a. Those aren't hauling to stockpiles. Wheelbarrows only work with stockpiles--you have to specially assign them to them.
b. Not to my knowledge, if you don't want to use minecarts.
c. Anything that's not hauling stuff to a stockpile, I believe.
d. I'm not sure why you think they could carry multiple logs. 1 tree=1 log.
e. Once you have the inclination and the infrastructure.
f. Maybe?

Because that same single log can also be wasted on an item like a dwarf sized chair. It would not take an entire tree to make even a human sized chair. At least not in the real world. :p

Evidently, dwarves are actually human sized and humans are giant sized and so they need big chairs.
