Destroyed masterworks and unhappiness
« on: May 19, 2012, 05:44:15 pm »

A dwarf gets unhappy when one of his masterworks gets destroyed. The more masterworks he already has the less unhappy he gets.

Does this include masterworks that have already been destroyed/sold to caravans?
i.e. does the unhappiness-amount depend on the total of masterworks a dwarf created or on the total of his masterworks present on the current map?

I believe that it is created, but I don't know if anybody has ever actually tested it to find out which one it is.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

Masterworks that have left the map (sold) or are otherwise finished (food and clothes) seem to still count. None of my legendary cooks so much as flinches if 10 of his MW roasts are smashed since 100 are already off the map or eaten.

Jam a door with its corpse and let all the goblins in. Hey, nobody said it had to be a weapon against your enemies.
