Stockpiling alchemical ingredients
« on: May 14, 2012, 11:54:47 pm »

In the mod that I'm working on, I have lots of different kinds of alchemical substances to use in an alchemical industry.  Vitriols, acids, metal powder, and what have you.  Currently I'm having a problem with stockpiling them, namely for the solid powders.  I know the liquid stuff would easily go under [LIQUID_MISC_OTHER], but there's no equivalent setting for powders, and the two that are closest (Milled Plant and Bone Meal) don't quite go (since they're neither).  Up until now I've just set my alchemical stockpiles to accept bags, which makes the stockpile take both full and empty bags.  This could work, but it's not intuitive, and other things like gypsum plaster get stored in the stockpile too, which wastes space.

tl;dr: How would one go about stockpiling alchemy powders?

I know that, in my science mod, salt and sodium sulfate both are stockpiled fine in the same place as sand--maybe it's that?

(or maybe they aren't and I've just been thinking they are...)
