Manage crimes
« on: May 14, 2012, 01:58:50 am »

I think it would be interesting if you can manually manage crimes which you think so & which is not. To make your own fortress with its own crime codex. En example: equate plump helmets to shrines of the fortress & who will eat it those will be punished =)

I think this can be some kind of basement for religion. Randomly things which you can or can't do for god's sake.
An example if you believe in god of wood, you can't cut trees (this job are just blocked or he will be punished by other believers... something like this). In such way can be formed no religious community etc.

I like this, but I think it would be too much to micromanage, and set up.

Unless one could mark items as 'Sacred' or something like that, or certain animals/stones, and if they are used/attacked/whatever, then it's considered a crime.

Yes. It can have some percentage of violation of the prohibition which is depends on mood of dvarf. Like if he is happy everything is fine but if he is unhappy he can do things which is prohibited by his religion/crime codex.
