so several horribly failed attempts at channeling and  miner and cat get horribly injured :P but for some reason it says when they fell in the combat log that they were caught in a cloud of boiling magma even though they were outside. so another bug found if it wasn't found already

Not a bug. Boiling magma is a generic name for gaseous stone, which cave-in dust happens to be.

Well, a simple search of "caught boiling magma" would have answered TC's question >_>
