This might be a stupid question, but for the last week or so, the wiki gives me this error on any page I access:

MediaWiki internal error.

Exception caught inside exception handler.

Set $wgShowExceptionDetails = true; at the bottom of LocalSettings.php to show detailed debugging information.

I've tried with chrome, firefox, safari on several different computers, from work and home.

Apparently if I go through a proxy it breaks the wiki.  That's irritating and very very weird...

I have the same issue.... exactly. And its really annoying because that wiki was my lifeline =/

While browsing through the wiki with my proxy disabled, I found on the maintainer's page that he was fooling around with something for X-Forwarded-For headers, which is something some proxies - but not all - add to the http request.  I personally disable it because it exposes my internal hostname/IP which defeats some of the purpose of using the proxy in the first place.  I'm wondering if it isn't something related to that that's breaking the wiki for people going through proxies.

This tragedy prevents me from studying Dwarf Fortress (Justice) whilst on Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner.

If there is a more appropriate time to read about Justice (Dwarven) then whilst travelling at nearly 100 miles per hour in a million pounds of **steel**, I have not found it.

I left a comment on the User_Talk page for Breiss, but still no solution for this problem.

It would be justified, I think it was over the summer and maybe part of last winter that the wiki was under a massive spambot attack.  If memory serves they had to block new profiles and editing completely for a time.

I really have no idea why the wiki is doing this, and have not had time to figure out what the cause is.

If you guys have any information that could help me diagnose this problem, please leave a message on my talk page or in this thread with the relevant information.
