Mod or just game?
« on: April 15, 2012, 10:28:12 am »

Hello, I have did quite a few many adventures before, and I have never encountered this many wildlife below.
The first ever chase I have done in many years was chasing a bunch of cavy boars with my ranged companions.
Then it turns to my companions attacking milkfish, on the other side of the river I see a group of 3 hippos.
As I progress I see an elephant and a boar....
What...
Is....
Happening?
Might it be Mayday's Tileset causing this?

Tilesets cannot cause it. Raw changes can. Also check your intuition level.

Civs probably just didnt hunt that many animals, causing them to baby-boom.

Actually I don't think hunting is as important a factor as the RNG's choices when placing animals in biomes. I've found forests that were completely empty, and some that were filled to the brim with all sorts of things, right next door to one-another. Some regions just don't get the same species as others, and some species have tiny populations to begin with and die out easily.
