Random ignored goblin bits.
« on: April 14, 2012, 03:30:58 am »

I can't seem to get my dwarves to clean up any dead goblin or kobold bits my military or weapon traps might leave behind. I have a refuse and corpse stockpile. I can even mark them for dumping and they still ignore them but will dump other things just fine. Am I missing something obvious?

First of all use [D] and check to see if they are forbidden (if they are they will show up green)
Then exit out of that menu and try
  • [R] and somewhere it may say 'ignore refuse outside' or something to that effect, hit
  • to change that, I think dumped items count as a form of refuse, so this option can prevent dwarves from dumping objects too.

Ah, I knew it had to be something simple I was just forgetting. Outside refuse fixed it. Thanks for the memory jog!
