Quite a nice sim that features 8 skills, rising in leagues, player market between players, national teams etc.
It doesn't require much attention. One log-in in a few days is enough if you want.

I'm not Canadian either, and my team's up 3-0 in the 1st of my first game. 

Weird bug though...all my player names are coming up "Retired" in the game reports.

I wanna know which of my rejiggered lines is doing all the damage.

EDIT: Ahh, I see. I was watching game tape of my team's last game under its old coach. They won 7-6. Wonder they fired the guy?

Okay, after spending half an hour or so yesterday coming up with my best lines and a training regimen and all....I log in this morning to find all of that thrown out the window and the AI has auto-arranged everything again.

In this case you hadn't set your "squads" (don't know proper English word) You have to enable your "squads" to make them active. You must have at least 3 squads set.

In this case you hadn't set your "squads" (don't know proper English word) You have to enable your "squads" to make them active. You must have at least 3 squads set.

I'm assuming you mean "lines" (5-man lineup). I deleted the original 3 and made 4 replacement lines (an attacking line, a speed line, a trapping line and a checking line). Set their priorities and everything.

Not only did it nuke all that, but it looks like it auto-assigned one of my goalies as a center, and another as a left wing.

Your handmade lines still exist. They are just disabled because you have set them wrong somehow. You might not have enough players in a line, you might not have enabled a line, a player in powerplay line might not be in any of your 5v5 lines causing an error.
