Goblins sent a siege 4 pages long, and part of it was 10 cave war dragons. But you can't train them right? can you capture them and make them breed, and then train the offspring?

That depends, are you going to survive long enough to give it a try?

They probably have already been tamed by the gobbo's so I expect it's impossible.

Doesn't mean you can't horde enemy cave dragons for your eventual fortress's destruction.

It's time for a SYNDROME!

Let's go for a flying Forgotten Beast with poisonous vapors, carrying lots of Advanced Rot and Extreme Swelling!

Leave anything to chance, eventually the RNG will roll a 1 and everything will erupt in a fountain of magma and vomit.

If dwarf fortress starts to feel boring, it means you need to either dig deeper, or pervert the laws of nature, man, or physics to a greater degree.

your dwarven ingenuity is missing.

Also, spam cage traps. Catch war dragons. See if they can be tamed or not.

On a recent fort I had, a goblin siege arrived with a bunch of giant toads and elk birds.

I could tame these creatures, but they still seemed to attack my dogs.

Also a dwarf killed one and I had a loyalty cascade.
