I once got an artifact gold buckler. I didn't think too much of it until I learned that gold was good for shields. After the fort ended.

Sweet, Ive only gotten a artifact iron breastplate with goblin bones on it. It was cool but since everyone already had iron breastplates it wasnt that useful. Golden shield much more so. Not to mention it brings to mind a legendary warrior defender of some kind.
