Pretty sure I've gotten sieges with less than 80 dwarves.

But at any point did you have more than 80?

nopez, happened on my last fort im 100% sure. i think its possible that its tied to wealth as well, meaning that if you amass insane amounts of wealth they will still show up. it was sub 80 dwarves post 1st artifact but I did have lot of animals.

It also depends on created wealth. Was it a planepacked glitch?

I suggest that we add a clause permitting the keelhauling of anyone who suggests a plan involving "zombify the crew".

just to be clear i definitely think people who can manage a 200dwarf fort awesomely and run a tight ship are cool and probably better players, but i feel the suspected more common shithole approach to a large population demeans the detail of the game

Things that save me from going insane:

- Pop limit of 60
- 20% children, max 15 children
- Seedwatch
- Autolabor
- Workflow

25% children and max 30, but yes. My fps just can't handle anything bigger.

Jam a door with its corpse and let all the goblins in. Hey, nobody said it had to be a weapon against your enemies.
