Hey, not to derail, but is it possibvle to get flux from somewhere else? order it on a caravan perhaps?

Once the "Minerals Everywhere" world has been generated, I ran the in-game site-finder. If I searched for Flux, I got nothing but a mass of red Xs. It was also not listed anywhere when I wandered around the map manually. Whether there was actually no flux present I don't know.

And to answer dunamisdeos's question, if the civilization in question has access to flux, yes, you can request it from the Dwarvish caravans.

Where is it listed under???? I can;t find it anywhere, and they bring me steel all the time.

It's listed under stone.
Calcite, chalk, dolomite, limestone, and marble are the flux stones.
