Isn't dungeon master supposed to be gone?

Hey.

After playing a bit i've ended up with a barony.

Which has the dungeon master noble position. (it may have come pre barony though - don't remember precisely)

Wasn't that position removed? Does anyone else have this?

The Dungeon Master was removed in the current version.  At the same time the Dungeon Master was removed, Toady fixed the bug that prevented baron-appointed positions from being appointed.  That was done to make the Champion appointable.  If you are playing with raws that still have the Dungeon Master in them, either because you imported a game made with 34.05 or earlier, or because you installed a mod or graphics pack that overwrites the entity position with an older one, you will see the Dungeon Master as an appointed position.  This is a bug, he's not supposed to be there, and if you appoint him he won't do anything.

Yup, was a .05 version.

Oh well I have a useless dungeon master.

Put his office in front of the goblin prison that we all seem have. He is "Dungeon Master" after all.
