I started up adventure mode for the first time in a long time, Im used to the older versions before knapping etc.

I am outside a lair, but it says I am perpetually thirsty and hungry. I ate food and water but now it says that I am full. is this feature bugged out?

how do i butcher and cook food? I have some raw wolf parts to cook. I made a fire too.

Its a bug. You can only eat/drink 3 times in one 'session'. Fast travel a tile and you should be able to eat again.

To butcher a corpse, stand over the corpse and press x then go to the butcher menu. cooking isnt implemented yet.

No. Butchered meat is treated as cooked for all intents and purposes, same as in fortress mode.


It isn't bugged, per se, but yes, you can only eat/drink three times in quick succession. Either eat/drink as soon as the hungry/thirsty notifiers show up, or just travel around a bit until you can eat more.

Okay, thanks. I got me some felstalker meats. Has crafting outside of knapping been added yet? Or is this leather useless to me? I want a new waterskin so Im not limited to 3 at a time

Get the Wanderer mod. The thread for it should be on the first or second page of the modding subforum; it allows you to craft all sorts of leather, bone, and stone items, including backpacks and waterskins.
