"Well, if the change means war, I'll welcome it with my trusty axe into forehead. Whoever is right, you have my strength for now, Commander."

Severus came closer to Septimus, knowing allegiance of the latter a bit too well. His hideous visage twisted, showing a kind of sympathetic grin:

"No point in fighting brother against brother 'till death. Go now, while you still can. It's not too late."

I've served for 14 years! And I will not commit treason, nor will I let you!

Draw my sword.

Whisper to the Captain.

Captain,we are outnumbered and age has left me somewhat weak,I don't suppose you have a plan?

"Though you have a good point, I'm willing to join you, if there's no problem with that."
"Well, if the change means war, I'll welcome it with my trusty axe into forehead. Whoever is right, you have my strength for now, Commander."
*shrug*, there's going to be something you refuse to tell us here, but for now I trust you.
The commander inclines his head. "Excellent. I'm glad to have you beside me."

The commander watches you cautiously as you whisper with the captain:
"I don't have any plan, but I think he's lying about the other divisions..." He trails off.
It's doubtful that anyone else heard him. But he looks uncertain, and that was enough.

The soldiers in the room begin shouting. Some are scared, others angry, but before long two sides have formed, both roughly the same size. One favours Commander Mutinus, the other favours the Emperor. Swords are drawn. They're ready for a fight.

"If you will excuse me. I will let you discuss the matter among yourselves. Loyalty. Retirement. Or... death." The commander turns and leaves the room without a backward glance.

Assess the location,is it made of wood or stone? Are there any torches? Is there any other way out?

*Sigh*, of course it would have to come to this, but before we battle, I think we can all be sure that this assassination is still going to happen, it might as well be for a good cause.
look around for anything that could help, but if the battle starts, immediately wade in for Septimus.
And start blocking the exit.

"It's your last chance to chose peaceful methods, brothers. I'll leave no one alive otherwise."

Severus dangerously smiles while stretching his spine.

Science is always important. But it needs more flaming cats. Can't we build bridge-based catapults and fling flaming cats at the dust and goo?

It's time for the ATHATH Death Counter to increase once more in celebration for the end of the world.
