(sorry about the lack of screenshots and all but, here is my first post)
Dastot Rigothalath, the fortress' current armydorf looked up from his position on the hill of ice and snow. His current duty was to guard the other dwarves hauling goods into the underground fortress that is Istbarimush. Held his hand up, expecting rain, although a sharp drop of a red liquid fell into it instead. He lifted it up to his mouth and licked it. He immediately spat and dropped the frozen goblin blood to the ground. It began to fall harder and harder, and the frozen blood began to annoy him and the others. It clinked each time it his his bronze spear and shield, making a rhythmic hum to the sounds of grunts and groans from the haulers.
Underground, the miners Ushat Amostduthner and Erish Ingiver were digging deeper and deeper to find metals, and eventually a cavern with trees. Workshops were being built at a steady pace, and a dormitory was being built and engraved below the community's upper level. The one farmer King Mudinided had allowed the fortress to take is useless, thanks to the fact that there is no water (besides ice), no soil, (thanks to the ice), and of course only a few handfuls of seeds. No one could quite predict the future, so everyone was nervous that a giant flying elk bear bird would come and gobble up the dwarves like they were elves turkeys.
