If you just want to get rid of it, build an antechamber to its prison containing a decent quality spike trap, use more door-lock shenanigans to get it stuck on the spike trap, and set haulers onto spike-the-elephant duty for however long it takes to bleed out.

Actually I am trying a more "Dwarfy" solution.

I built a huge cistern on top of the tower, and am diverting part of my Magam flow into it.
When the time comes I will open a bauxite floodgate and BLAME!!!
