Yes.

Also, as far as I know drawbridge atom-smashing deaths are not seen, even with witnesses standing nearby.

Not in Dwarf Fortress it isn't!  Seriously, how many people actually have their Dorfs die of old age?

OK, I have to reload the save.
There was a bit of a problem regarding flashfreezing, a ballistae, and a barrel of dwarven ale. Gonna fix it up.

Hey I had this one who died peacefully, well died of peaceful causes. I wouldn't say he died "peacefully" what with the missing arm and all.

because everyone here is OCD and ADHD, and then complain when their dwarfs act similarly in game.

I suspect he dodged his happy self off the edge of the map.  I've seen this happen since v34.
