Game crash on embark... EVERY TIME D:

The title says it all really. I just lost my old fortress to a siege which I was unprepared for, but now every time I try to embark, the game crashes on me. Is there something I can do to fix this?

If you are willing to generate a new world, you can always delete the "save" folder in your Dwarf fortress\data\ directory, so in case there's some corruption in the current world files, it should get rid of them.

No mods... I downloaded the game about a month ago... so the version is df_31_25_win... that's what the file location calls it
