2 questions, catapults and flying animals

1) if you put a catapult on the 3rd storage of a building, and next to it is a 10 storage building, can the catapult still shoot over it if it is right next to it?

2) im being harras by flying kea, they flew to my roof and went through the stairs and stole a shield o.O well 1 got awary the other got killed by the danger room >.> leading to the shield and all the guard there.
is there a way for them to not do that?

2: yes, make sure they can't get in or set some guard dogs/giant badgers halfway down

Garath, how are you taming Giant Badgers in 05?  My exotic button in Lazy Newb Pack, does nothing.  I think there was a change to taming in 05.  I've had a lil leather shortage, since I can't tame trapped exotic animals.  Knutor

From what I gather, no. If the building is in the way, it won't be able to shoot over - missiles launched from siege engines only travel on the z lvl they were fired from
