Intuition?

I like to play adventure mode in D.F. and am just wondering if intuition does anything for adventurers.

it seems to help you not to run into ambushes as much when fast-traveling.

this was more noticable in older version where ambushes were a bit common. There seemed to be unlimited dingo packs.
