I'm trapped in campfires!

Help! I can't seem to pass through them, and I don't have water. How do I get out?

I can't sleep. I was stopped with the "You feel uneasy" message, and a cave dragon is out to get me. On the other side of the river, luckily.

I'm guessing you can't walk over them, not even with alt-move? Someone else did this some time ago. Can't remember the solution.

If its the second just use the number pad to diagonal move.
Alternatively since this seems to be an issue ive read a few times here.

I think the only way is to wait it out. You can make a macro to wait then use ctrl-u to repeat it 1000 times.

If you don't mind cheating... using dfhack to place water on the fire is the only method I've ever found that works.
