Signed up as Llywelyn Mathrafal and did the started guide up to where I returned to Outreach sector. Ship ran out of power when I was trying to figure out which station to dock to 

I found your ship floating in space.. You can always just use an escape pod too, or ask on the comms for people to help you!

Am I able to retrieve the ship?

You need a Charge Booster from the shop, and someone to pilot you to your ship. Then just get them to dock to your ship, and have them charge it (you can't get in without a Space Suit since life systems are down..)
