Key bindings, how do they work?

I heard about usefulness of key bindings in somewhere in forums. I tried to do something to them, but meny clearly does not make any sense. I checked wiki, but there are just raws.

Could someone advice me how to use key bindings?

You could start with the "Key Bindings" section of the options menu. Just hit ESC at the start menu.

Looks like he found the Key Bindings page, but is confused as to what binding name does what.  Yeah, that kinda stinks.  I'm not sure where to find a definitive list.  You could, however, try getting the key bindings file from the Lazy Newb Pack and replacing the original.  I'm going to go out on a limb and say you're looking for laptop key bindings?  LNP has a preset for that.
