+75 dwarves and no mayor?
« on: March 03, 2012, 08:25:43 am »

Was the upgrade to mayor after reaching 50 dwarves removed in these latest installments? I have 75 citizens and I still only have an expedition leader who's happy with his little box of an office.

Just wondering.

I think he'll be promoted when your next (Dwarf) caravan comes round.

Your liason will recognise your little town, and sure as sure, it'll be upgraded and your Dwarf'll become a mayor. Do you have the other noble positions of bookkeeper, manager e.t.c. assigned? Might have something to do with it, not so sure on the last part though.

I've found that if you assign a different dorf to the position he'll immediately become the mayor. Mostly helps if you've got another dorf with higher social skills (as long as he's not a vampire.)
