Precious metals and coins
« on: March 04, 2012, 08:18:30 am »

Regardless of metal scarcity/abundance, the coins are always made (ordered by value) from gold/silver/copper.

Now there are manhole covers from native gold in Clobbered Hill. I understand that gold can be so richly abundant that it is used for peasant spoons and manhole covers, but should it be used for the most valuable coins in such case?

The entire content consists of senseless murder, a pile of faceless naked women and zero regard for human life in general, all in the service of the protagonist's base impulses. It is clearly a cry for help from a neglected, self absorbed and disempowered juvenile badly in need of affectionate guidance. What a sad, sad display.

Probably, but what could you possibly want coins for?

Eh, that just means you've found a particularly rich neighborhood. :P

What I want to know is, where the heck do they mine the generic "rock" that they build all their sewers out of???

And been a bit smug over generating a world with an elephant monster that got 87763 sentient kills.

Or where they get the platinum to build their massive fortresses out of...

If you really want a good trade good, go with large gems, not coins.

Even better buy decorated jewelry or crafts.  I've found stuff worth over 8k before.  I also have an old world with skilled crafters.
