Custom Profession Named Vampire
« on: February 28, 2012, 11:47:06 am »

So I tried customizing a dwarfs profession for using Dwarf Therapist, and it worked... except that it didn't change the dwarfs profession as it appeared on the list. Okay, whatever. It works for everyone else...
.
.
.
EXCEPT-

Now there's a murder. And the dwarf who refuses to use my custom profession is accusing a dwarf who DOES use the custom profession name I gave him.

Now, this IS suspicious... And I'm pretty certain I know who the culprit is, the little rabble-rousing deviant.

Anyway, long story short, vampires don't allow for a custom profession name, maybe? I'm about to find out once this guys sentence is carried out. Stay tuned for more.

Known bug.  Vampires migrate under assumed names.  Changing their profession or name applies to their real identity and not their assumed name.

You need to make said elf leather into the most amazing work of art.  Embed it with every kind of gem you have, stud it with metals, and sew images into it.  Erect a shrine outside your fort with that in the center.  Let the elves know that you view their very skin as naught more but a medium for your dwarves to work on.
