I am currently under siege. By a single friendly dwarf. Has anyone else had this problem?

It's just a were-creature.  There is no full moon so he's not transformed, he will either leave or the full moon will come.  Hopefully he leaves.

That or the commander of the siege has been blocked off from that dwarf.

If that dwarf flees from something, like a wild animal, the commander will be able to arrive and siege as normal.

It's just a were-creature.

Capture him and weaponize. If he bites one of your Dwarfs, they become a were-creature every full moon. Use this knowledge to our advantage.

Is there a way to check the moon's phase? I've only seen one were-creature (was a were lizard) and I don't know how you can manage to have them spread the curse. Mine was a Queen Consort and until I figured out how to kill its human form it was effectively
killing any dwarf it ran into instantly.

I had a were-gecko that turned into an elf before reaching the front door, then it vanished - It may have left or it may be hiding up a tree

I'm glad that even as werebeasts, dealing with the elves hasn't changed.

I was visited by a were-badger, who turned into a human after taking a few bolts. My marksmen proceeded to kill it in human form.
