Intresting arena quirk
« on: February 24, 2012, 12:59:51 pm »

I just found som someething in arena, especially regarding cave-ins, i just noticed that if you have a 'section of the cavern collapse' (by making water and then lava over it in the air, but not the top layer, it somehow hangs on to the top of the world magically) the cave-in dust will sometimes be creeping dust.
This will be hard to use, but i tought i'd just throw it in here anyway. (also, the other dust will ocasionally be lignite and such.)

i think it just picks a random material, because a part of the fog is 'frozen rotten slime'

EDIT:
No luck at making husks so far, i forgot for a moment that the floors actually collapse too if you collapse other blocks on them.
But i just noticed that i got a duck infected whit rotten slime sickness.

EDIT:
More discoveries!
If you manage to catch some of the dust in water, you will get 'rock laced whit (stonename)' or 'rock laced whit MAGMA'

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

Is it because light travels faster than sound,

I think so.
But it would be VERY hard to use, because it usually doesnt show up, it was a 5x10 block that i was collapsing, and after all, its cave-in dust, theres also native gold dust and such (most of wich seems to dissapear into thin air) and after all, i dont think husks can survive beining bashed by a solid block of generic rock.
