So this isn't really a discussion about other Bay12 Curse games. I don't think it ever made it to that point :P I was curious why this thread was still bumping, given the question.....now I know.

Actually no, LOL, everyone stereotypes the gypsies (who are not always Romani, mind you, though they're the biggest group). Really, there are very few people who'll have a go at you for it.

I'm not really sure what you're saying "no" to here. The fact that few people are actually willing to call other people out on it speaks of a serious problem, in my opinion. If anything, you're just making my point for me.

For what it's worth, I really respect this. There are a lot of stereotypes that are today seen as abominable, but were perfectly acceptable in polite society two or three generations ago. It's pretty disturbing how little popular opinion correlates with ethics when it comes to portrayal of other people.
