Onyx and Doors

My attempt to make an onyx door from rough onyxes freshly mined out of a wall has failed miserably.  Anyone have a step by step guide on how to accomplish this task?  Please assume that I don't know anything.

I don't believe rough gems can be used to build anything like with stones, as the game considers gems to be completly seperate from any other stone. Onyx is a gem according to the game.

You could hope for a strange mood. But be warned, there is more likely going to be an onyx thong made.

you don't, he'd typed in :DOOR but forgot to turn off smileys, it should read
