A few more noobish questions..
« on: November 06, 2007, 05:57:00 pm »

I've gotten(mandated) myself a Tresurer/bookkeepper so I could know about my stocks, and he is doing his job, but I was wondering if he was able to tell me the value of my wares(hasen't done so yet, if it's his job). I also read that he would trigger the economy. How do I prevent this?

EDIT: the broker seems to check the wares value only when trading. He hasent done anything to economy yet.

Finally, I've been unable/don't have a clue about how to use engravings. Any tips?

EDIT: Looks like I have to smooth it first.

You have to make coins to get the economy.

under data/init/init in the game files you'll find the page that allows you to tweak how the game runs.  somewhere in all the other stuff (in the second half, i think) you'll find the line for economy.  the default is yes, change that to no and save, and the economy will be disabled.  make sure the game isn't running when you make changes.

To know the value of your wares you need your broker to be at least a novice appraiser.
