How does one become a necromancer?

Necromancers have these slabs in their towers. Read one, become one.

You can also get it by reading their books if their books have "Secret of life and death".

Remember though that you can't read at all if you don't have skill in reading  :P

Not only in towers. Some have them on the way.

I think Grax might be saying that the other necromancers are lugging heavy slabs around which makes them move really slowly.
