How often is the home page viewed?

Would it be possible to see a graph of how many hits per day the main DF home page is getting, as i know i find myself hitting refresh more regularly, now that a release is "soon".
 
I'm sure there's a few (thousand) other people who might be in the same situation ...

anyway, rather than refreshing the DF home page and posting this message, i should be heading off to work...

From that page i can tell that about 74 accounts per day are being registered atm (up from 50 a year ago) so there is a definite increase in interest, as measured by that metric, but there don't seem to be any other per-time stats available ...

For reference, the DF Suggestions forum is a place for fans to suggest features that Toady could add to the game.  It is not intended as a place for fans to receive suggestions (in the sense of "helpful advice").  This thread would fit better in DF General Discussion -- as the OP, you can move it there with the controls in the lower left corner of this thread.

There is no hit counter for the main page, but Google Trends can give you an idea of the overall interest in DF over time.

No, the DF home page is not part of the forums.
