I got mine to play some Portal 1. She did not leave the Lab-Area, i had the impression that she did like it.
(That was after i got her to play the first 10 min of HLČ. She said the Combine made her want to kill them. Good job, Valve!)

My fiancee has admitted to being horrible at any first-person game, especially if it includes jumping. As long as it's not gory or anything, she likes to watch.

It was kind of painful a while back when we played through Super Mario World together. She was content with slowly walking through each level, making zero use of the run button.

Ouch. I have experienced exactly that too. Just hold down goddamn 1 while you're playing! Your finger is OVER it! JUST PUSH YOUR FINGER DOWN!

Oh gods same here. At least she got it in the end but her jump timing was still abismal...
